iOS 9 won’t let you download slim versions of apps just yet

iPad Pro iPhone 6s Plus
Apple announced to developers that it has temporarily disabled an iOS 9 feature called app slicing, which was designed to help users save space on their devices. Part of the ‘app thinning‘ collection of features, app slicing allows iOS devices to download only the assets they require to run, while leaving out files that enable them to work on other Apple gadgets. Charlotte SEO Company Uncovers the Key to Surviving Google Updates

Google is currently addressing the needs of the increasing population of mobile device users. Through these devices, Google is able to locate the user more accurately, and in introducing Pigeon, the company aimed to improve distance and ranking parameters by narrowing the search results radius. Google’s attempt to provide a more optimized experience to mobile users, therefore, calls for focused localization strategies. But according to an SEO company in Charlotte, localization must not be taken narrowly. Effective SEO still involves a combination of strategies. Greg Glifford of Search Engine Journal noted that such companies faithfully adhered to Google best practices.

Tips to Make Your Website More SEO-Friendly

As more and more people spend their time online, you should make sure your business website garners the most attention. One of the best ways to do that is through SEO. After all, the top three search results on Google eat up the lion’s share of web user clicks. In fact, a well-thought-out SEO campaign can easily catapult you to the first page of Google search results pages.

Of course, doing the bare minimum of SEO won’t be enough to push you all the way up to the top of the search rankings. Fortunately, there are many simple steps you can take to make your website more SEO-friendly, allowing your SEO campaign to do its job better. Here are some of them:

Regularly Updating Your Content

Many SEO experts will tell you “content is king”, and for good reason. Google loves seeing fresh content on websites. After all, fresh content means the website remains relevant and useful to web users, two important factors Google uses to help determine a website’s ranking. Be sure to regularly update the content on your website by taking advantage of your company blog.

Rewrite Your URLs

Search engines treat URL extensions as separate pages (e.g. YouAreHere.com/index is viewed as a completely different page from YouAreHere.com). This quirk in search algorithms means websites with inconsistent URL extensions are splitting their website traffic between the two pages. Be sure to rewrite your URLs to achieve consistency.
